PROMOTION / PREVENTION TIER 1

1. Classroom PresentationsA professional provides a full classroom presentation on a specific subject (i.e. anti-bullying, depression, suicide prevention, peer pressure, feelings expression, drug and alcohol, health issues) per request of a classroom teacher or school personnel.

4. Teacher Consultation/TrainingEducation on mental health, diagnosis and related symptom, health or drug and alcohol issues. Student specific strategic behavioral planning for teachers and linkage to community services, as well as, student specific consults based on screening or assessment.

11. Parent AdvocacyAdvocacy supports for children who are diagnosed with a mental illness. Helps to provide a voice for parents and children with health, alcohol and drug, or mental illness, emotional disturbances, and behavioral differences. Parent advocates can attend meetings or support and educate parents in order to enhance the likelihood of positive outcomes.

INTERVENTION TIER 2

2. Summer Program/CampsProgramming, specialized camps, or respite to help support and maintain function of children with special health and wellness needs through the summer months. Services can be designed to address and develop skills in areas of socialization, communication, self expression, self esteem, and interpersonal relationships. Programming will also improve fitness, physical skills, ability to follow rules and directions, share and play cooperatively.

3. Topical Groups/ClubsGroup sessions that include drug and alcohol, health, grief, divorce, anger management, behavior specific, and parenting. Groups can be designed for specific topics per request of school.

7. 1:1 Supervision / Mentoring / Classroom Assistance

4. After School ProgramsProgramming to support children after school, in school building or at community locations. It can also provide for communication outlets for parents, schools, and students. After school programming can include homework assistance and academic support, health, Drug and alcohol, or mental health groups and treatment.
